How sessions work
- 50-60 minute one-on-one sessions over secure video call
- An initial session to understand your concerns and agree on a working plan
- Ongoing sessions at a frequency that suits you: weekly, biweekly, or as needed
- Practical strategies you can apply between sessions, not just conversation
When to seek more urgent or medical help: If you are in crisis, having thoughts of self-harm, or need medication as part of your care, please contact a psychiatrist, your local emergency services, or a crisis helpline. Shital can continue counselling alongside psychiatric care but does not prescribe medication or manage psychiatric emergencies.

No. As a Behaviour Therapist and Counsellor, Shital does not prescribe medication. If medication may help, she will refer you to a psychiatrist and can continue counselling alongside that care.
